Wedding favors have a long tradition, but they are still considered to be appropriate gifts for your special wedding guests, a small tokens to express appreciation for their attending your lovely celebration. You will surely remember your special day for the rest of your life, but wedding favors are the best way to give your guests meaningful souvenirs to remember your wedding day as well.

There is a lot of possibilities when it comes to choosing perfect wedding favors for your big day. Homemade, themed, ethnic or traditional favors – it only depends on you which ones are the best choice for you and your guests. Traditional favors are pieces of the wedding cake in lovely boxes, picture frames with picture of you and your loving partner and sometimes baked goods in beautiful ribbon tied boxes. Ethnic favors, as the name implies depend on their origin – nice small bottles of saki from Japan, Chinese fortune cookies, Swiss chocolates etc. Of course, if you prefer or come to some other country, you could choose wedding favors that depict your or the origin of your family. Homemade favors are always nice, but this means you have to spend some time making them. Homemade wedding favors sometimes include bird houses, handmade candles, lovely tulle sachets with potpourri etc. Of course, if you have some wedding theme, you can match your wedding favors with it. For example, if you have a beach wedding, you could give your guests toy boats with marzipan candies.

Whatever you choose, they should be nice, unique and they should make your guests remember your wedding day. For more ideas and if you want to purchase some, check out My Wedding Favors at
