There is no doubt that a wedding as an event is extremely blissful and there are many factors that contribute to make it delightful. But can you imagine that a venue can be so beautiful that it deserves the entire credit of the glory of the wedding? Ed Sutherland, an adventure loving Sunshine Coast wedding photographer came across such a venue in Brisbane, Australia, where he filmed the wedding of Pia & Travis, whose love story is inspiring, and Kangaroo Point Cliffs and Factory 51 made it amazingly romantic.
Wedding Celebration of Pia & Travis
As teenager lovers, life separated Pia & Travis. 15 years later, they met up again and have barely spent a night apart since. They couldn’t be any happier or more in love. They have a son ‘George’ who is just 10 weeks who they both adore and who their eldest son Harvey (Travis’ son) loves to death. Their wedding was held on the Brisbane River and their reception at a rustic function restaurant, Factory 51. They hoped that their wedding would be simple but classy. They also hoped their video/photos would capture their love for each other but also their love for their family and friends. One big thing they would like to do was a ‘first look’.
All the expectations of Pia & Travis were met by Ed Sutherland, who wants to give credit to the grandeur of the venue.
The Kangaroo Point Cliffs located at Kangaroo Point across the Brisbane River are heritage-listed cliffs. They were formed after stone was quarried from there to be used in building several local structures.
Among all the Kangaroo Point wedding venues, Kangaroo Point Cliffs are remarkable especially because of the parkland and the stunning views of the Brisbane River.
Pia & Travis chose Factory 51 as their reception venue which is an outstanding urban wedding venue with a rustic industrial appeal. The relaxed vibe of the place makes the wedding couple and their guests feel comfortable and cheerful. Further, the high-quality food at Factory 51 is unmatched and is complemented by boutique beverages served by a very friendly and polite staff.
Ed didn’t leave any opportunity to shoot the wedding of Pia & Travis at the beautiful locations at Factory 51 and Kangaroo Point Cliffs.
It was particularly fun for Ed to film the wedding of Pia & Travis with their jovial guests, who were totally enjoying the beauty of the venue, and were eager to give crazy poses. They were all cooperative and understood when to get involved and when not to, so, giving enough space for bridal portraits.
