Stanley Park

Just north of downtown, Stanley Park is an amazing 400-hectare lush area denoting how Vancouver is well-balanced in urbanization and greenery. Ancient trees towering over 250 feet (76 meters) are the specialty of Stanley Park. The park is the largest city-owned park of Canada and besides the natural splendor it features several manmade amenities including a seawall that encircles the park offering a paved path for pedestrians, cyclists and inline skaters. There are more attractions like miniature rail road, water-park, sports track, outdoor theater and Children’s Farmyard too. To add to these, there are a number of monuments, plaques and statures, and Canada’s largest aquarium.

Robson Street

Robson Street is a Canadian version of Rodeo Drive. It is made of fashionable stores and restaurants, thus a perfect area for shopping. You will find a cluster of coffee shops, designer boutiques and international snack bars which make the atmosphere of Robson Street vibrant.

Granville Island

Granville Island is a friendly oasis in the heart of the city and presents a wonderful mix of remodeled warehouses turned into theaters, craft shops and artisan studios, restaurants, marinas, cobbled streets and eclectic market that has fresh produce and seafood to offer. The island has its own brewery too. Take a romantic walk along the seawall holding each other’s hand around False Creek on the south side of the island. And there is an charming mini-ferry ride to return to the downtown.
