Though it might not have extended up to international obsession, but Charlene Wittstock and Prince Albert’s royal wedding was just as beautiful as William and Kate’s.

After getting married on Friday in a simple civil ceremony, the Princess and Prince hosted a splendid concert complete with beautiful firework in Monaco at the Monte Carlo Harbor. Jean Michel Jarre, French musician entertained many well-wishers who were at the party. Wittstock took out her powdered blue jacket that she wore at the time of ceremony to show a corset that she paired with a heavy gold statement necklace.

The couple said their vows  on Saturday for the second time in a religious ceremony hosted by Archbishop Bernard Barsi of Monaco. Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld, Naomi Campbell and Giorgio Armani were among the guests who attended the ceremony. Many cream and white garlands and bouquets decorated the grand staircases of the palace courtyard.

The bride Charlene looked beautiful in a custom gown by Armani that included around 40,000 crystals, 20,000 mother of pearl tear drops, 2500 hours of creation and 30,000 golden stones. As she walked down the aisle, a 16 foot silk train followed behind.

The luxurious ceremony appeared like a difficult act to follow, but the dinner and ballroom reception of the couple at the Opera Garnier was just as huge as the wedding, but it was very sweet as well.  A gigantic 5 tiered confection wedding cake decorated with national flower of South Africa as a nod to the hometown of the bride was just amazing. The couple cut the cake into smaller and practical peace, which was later served to guests.

For the reception, Wittstock changed into beautiful Armani Prive evening gown, which included shimmering, sheer white fabric and a ruffled skirt of four tiers. Prince Albert wore a white shirt and bowtie with a cream jacket, keeping the scheme of color.
