You are excited because your big day is around the corner and you are finishing all the tasks one-by-one. However, while making arrangements for all your guests, such as entertainment, food and wedding favors, you may easily forget a very important group of your guests – your little guests, kids! Kids are not interested in adults’ events and can be extremely bored in your wedding no matter how important it is for you. If you make arrangements for the entertainment for kids, your little guests will be amused all the time and your wedding will look unique. Here are a few ideas.
1. Outdoor Games
If you are tying the knot in summer or spring, you can easily arrange outdoor games for kids in the fine weather, especially if your venue has a garden or other decent outside space. You can provide many games like lawn bowling, outdoor Jenga, hopscotch, Connect 4 and Twister, and even hula, kites and skipping ropes!
Also providing a Wedding Bounce House can be an ultimate fun activity not only for kids, but even for adults. A pure white or multicolored bounce house in a classic castle design with tall and sharp turrets will attract children and they and even their parents and other adults can jump inside the roomy castle to their heart’s content. So, don’t forget to add this fun bounce castle to your wedding outdoor entertainment.
2. Treats and Goody Bags
You can create a separate reception area for kids where they can receive goody bags and treats. You can include many items like snacks, chocolates, juice cans, toys, puzzles, glow sticks, coloring and activity books, coloring pencils and crayons, bubbles, and more.
3. Photo Booth for Your Little Guests
Children love being captured in cameras and if you provide them a small space (which they love too) with a lot of dresses and other props like fun hats, feather boas, mustaches on sticks and tutus, your little guests will never be bored, and will tell stories of the photo booth in your wedding to others for months to come, and also will have memories with them forever in the form of the photos.
4. Movie Room
Provide a quiet area for kids where cartoon and other kids’ movies can be screened. Provide comfortable seating like cushions and pillows, beanbags and other small but comfortable and safe kiddie chairs, and provide all-time favorite popcorn bags and other snacks, so that kids can spend their time happily on your big day.
Providing amusement to kids will make your big day unforgettable and ‘all’ your guests will remember it for years to come.
