Brazilian blonde virgin hair at New Star Virgin HairIf you are a bride-to-be with thin hair and so, are worried about your bridal hair style, there’s good news for you – you can wear hair extensions! If you are not sure about whether your hair will look natural and beautiful with extensions, here are tips with which you can achieve a fabulous bridal hair-do.

1. Avoid Single Shade, Have Multihued Extensions

Rather than a single solid shade, get multiple shades for your extensions. Some brands offer 7 to 11 shades. Also these are hand-blended and so, look natural, just like your original hair. Feel free to play with colors by adding extensions that are 1 or 2 shades darker or lighter, to form high- or low-lights.

2. Curl Extensions with Your Own Hair

If you are going to curl your hair and also are going to use extensions, don’t forget to curl extensions too along with your hair to blend them completely with your own hair and create a more natural seamless look. A more natural look can be achieved by curling 1-inch sections alternately from front to back with the curling iron set at 350 degrees.

3. Wash Extensions before the Big Day

Whether they are human or synthetic, don’t forget to wash, condition and air dry your extensions before the big day. They should be clean on the wedding day. Washing will ensure the removal of any product buildup.

4. Avoid Too Many Extensions

This is because, too many extensions look unnatural and can also make you uncomfortable during your wedding. You surely want to look like yourself on the wedding. Just one set is enough to add the desired length and volume.

5. Avoid Them Too Close to Skin

If you clip in the extensions too close to your scalp, you will feel very uncomfortable. Also there is a risk of slipping out of the extensions. Make sure that you clip them half inch away from your skin and a couple of inches away from your hairline. Using a hairspray will create a grip for the extensions and prevent slippage.

6. Avoid Blunt-cutting

If you blunt-cut your extensions, they won’t have any shape or body and everyone will know that you are wearing them. To make them look the most natural, get them attached to your hair by the stylist and then cut them to match your look.
