Nobody said it was easy to plan and organize the wedding of your dreams and yet to fit into the budget. If you consider cutting back some costs and you are good at cooking, you might consider baking your own wedding cake. This is a brave decision, but it is certainly way to stick to the budget and to make something really romantic and unique. Or perhaps your best friend, daughter, son or cousin is getting married and you want to help. Unless you are professional, you will need some tips and tricks to succeed in this mission. First of all, don’t undertake this quest lightly. Baking a wedding cake is a daunting task, but if you have motivation, skills and time, go for it! Starting early is a must! You will need time to find the right recipe, to get all the necessary equipment and to test your skills, especially to practice frosting and decorating. So, first of all, get the good recipe. If you like experimenting in the kitchen, cooking and baking, you know for sure it is a science. The next step is providing the necessary equipment.
